The online RN to BSN program is designed for RNs returning to college after a period of time outside of the profession as well as for RNs seeking to advance on the pay scale. With the flexibility of class schedules, JU provides superior online accessibility through streaming video lectures, online discussion boards and chat rooms as well as communication through email. Students may review the streaming video lectures as many times as needed and all tests are administered online. There is no need for securing a proctor, paying exam fees, or traveling to a predetermined testing location. Many similar online programs still require certain lab science courses to be taken at a home-based college and then transferred for credit towards their online degree. However, JU’s program continues to be on the cutting edge providing all lab sciences entirely online. Any additional lab materials, such as microscopes or lab cultures, are included with your textbook costs and are shipped to you directly. Additional support is available through your own JU academic advisor, a representative from the University Alliance Online student services, and tech support professionals.
Jacksonville University’s BSN program allows students to study at their own pace. Students may choose one of six start times, enroll in up to two courses at a time during their convenient eight-week sessions, and complete the degree requirements in as little as twenty-four months. Although all coursework and class participation is online, all students are invited to walk with fellow classmates upon graduation.
