Northeastern University, founded in 1898, is a private research university located in Boston, Massachusetts. Northeastern boasts six undergraduate, eight graduate schools, and two part-time divisions offer bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in a wide variety of academic disciplines and professional areas and they boast a full and part time faculty of almost 1,300.
Additionally, Northeastern University offers a university-wide co-op program that provides students with up to 18 months of professional experience with more than 2,000 co-op employers in Boston and around the globe. Northeastern also combines classroom studies with outstanding opportunities for research and service learning, and provide a network of support and advising to help students succeed in the lives they choose.
Northeastern University offers 9 different colleges of study including Health Sciences, Arts and Sciences, Criminal Justice, Professional Studies and a School of Law. They also combine all of the benefits of a traditional college campus with the wealth of resources found in one of the world’s most dynamic cities.
